LED trouble lights are special lights used to illuminate difficult places. Trouble lights consist of a protective housing unit for light bulbs, a handle for easy holding and transporting, a power cord (or battery pack), and some even have a hook for hanging the light to free up your hands. Some models of trouble lights are designed to prevent the detonation of flammable gases so they can be used in hazardous areas.

Over the years, LED technology has evolved from small LED indicators to vehicle tail lights, traffic signals, and home lighting. LED lighting is the preferred lighting for most workplaces.

LED trouble lights provide users with bright light for working on a project without heating the work area. The slim design of the light housing unit makes it easy to illuminate small, tight spaces.

LEDs produce high intensity, bright light. LED lighting is preferred over incandescent lighting due to the amount of heat produced by incandescent bulbs. LED bulbs do emit 90% less heat and are 75% brighter than incandescent lights.

Mechanics and electricians prefer LED trouble lights over other types of lighting because they are durable, versatile, portable, and light-weight. LED lights contain no filaments so they can handle the bumps and drops that occur when working on a job. The lamps can take a lot of punishment and still operate as normal. In fact, you will find LED trouble lights in almost every workshop.

But the electrical and automotive repair areas are not the only industries to utilize these lights. They are used in construction, forestry, mining, boating, towing, and anywhere extra lighting is needed. Many people just throw them in a toolbox for later use.

Given the practical benefits of LED trouble lights, they remain the most popular option for portable lighting.
